BOWEN THERAPY therapy fees link
The Bowen Technique was pioneered by Thomas Ambrose Bowen, born 1916 in Geelong, Australia. After working in miscellaneous labouring jobs as a young man, he developed a great interest in massage and body work and spent time observing football trainers and others involved in sports. By the time he was in his early 40s, this gifted man had established a full time practice in remedial therapy using the technique he had developed.
In 1978, when he was interviewed by a parliamentary committee looking into complementary medicine, he stated under oath, that he teated about 280 patients per week with the help of an assistant and a receptionist - an incredible 13,000 patients a year, 88% of whom only require two or three treatments!
Mr Bowen died in the early 1980s but today there are a number of flourishing therapies based on his work.
The Bowen Technique can be used to treat the following complaints:
Back, Neck, Shoulder, Joint aches and paint, sport injuries, asthma, dizziness, headaches, insomnia, and many more conditions may respond wonderfully well to Bowen treatment. |

What happens during treatment?
The practitioner uses thumbs and fingers on precise points on the body to make rolling type moves which aim to disturb the muscles, soft tissues and energy within the body.
During the treatment there are periods in which the client is left resting to allow the body to absorb the gentle moves that have been performed. This gives the body time to make the subtle and fine adjustments which help to relieve tension, reduce pain and initiate the healing process. The Bowen Technique encourages the body to realign itself; there is no manipulation or adjustment of the hand tissue and no force is used or needed. The Bowen Technique is not a form of massage. |

CRYSTAL THERAPY
therapy fees link
Crystals absorb, focus, direct and diffuse our energy fields to enable a diseased or out of balance body to find it's natural energetic rhythm once again. The appropriate crystals can be placed on the seven main chakras, which look like different coloured spinning wheels of subtle energy, running up the centre of the torso. These link the subtle energy fields of our aura with our emotions, glands, organs, physical body parts and subtle and physical circulatory flows. This is why wearing certain crystals such as yellow citrine may uplift you, rose quartz may help to ease heartache, and amethyst may calm a busy mind and help you to sleep. |
 |
What happens during treatment?
The client is made to feel comfortable and relaxed. Then a client history is taken.
The client lies down fully clothed on a couch. The therapist will dowse for crystals to be held by the client so that they can get used to the crystals energy. The client’s aura is cleansed then each chakra is cleansed and balanced with a pendulum. The therapist then by dowsing the crystals decides on which crystals are needed to be placed on each chakra. These are then left in these positions for a period of time then they are removed. This is followed by a crystal facial. The client is then left to rest for a few minutes to come to. After the treatment the client is then informed about after care. |

E.F.T. therapy fees link
EFT is a simple, non-intrusive, method of defusing emotional issues and reducing the level of stress most people feel in everyday life. It is a relatively new technique developed in the USA by Gary Craig and is now becoming more widely used and taught. It is not hypnotherapy or psychotherapy but is much simpler to learn and use than either of these therapies, so simple in fact that you can learn how to apply it in a few minutes and use it regularly on a self-help basis whenever an emotional issue, fear or phobia occurs in your life.
As well as relieving specific problems it has a cumulative effect - each issue addressed (and everyone on the planet has many) will help to reduce the overall stress level experienced. You can also be effected by ongoing or future events such as work–related stress, interpersonal problems, depression and various kinds of anxieties. Life becomes easier and freer with every session as you lose your fears, phobias and limitations. It is truly amazing! |
What happens during treatment?
Every emotional upset you ever experience is stored in the subconscious mind. Remembering the incident, or having something happen, which is similar will trigger the memory and also the emotional charge that is attached to it. This manifests as an interference in the normal energy flow through the body and gives you the bad feelings.
EFT works by accessing the energy flow routes (meridians) while the interference is present i.e. while you are thinking of the issue. The tapping, eye movements, humming and counting all access different areas of the brain and work together to reduce the interference and therefore the bad feelings.
Simple issues may be cleared with one round of EFT. More complex ones may require repeat rounds with the issue being dealt with from a different perspective each time.
It is very rare for anyone to show absolutely no improvement with this technique and most people are amazed by it’s effectiveness. |

HOPI EAR CANDLING therapy fees link
Hopi ear candles are named after the Native American tribes who first introduced this gentle therapy to the West. The hopi nation (translated Hopi means “peaceful ones”) are their extensive knowledge of healing and their spiritual lifestyle.
Glands in the ear canal secrete a substance called Cerumen, which helps to cleanse the ear of Debris. This collects as wax, and tiny hairs in the ear remove it without our help or without us noticing. Earwax is important as it projects the ear from infection.
Excess earwax, sinusis, headaches, deafness, migraines, catarrh, hay fever, snorting, vertigo and tinnitus, etc. are all conditions where this therapy has helped.
BioSun Ear Candles
The Candles are carefully crafted in Germany from a traditional Hopi Indian recipe. The pure linen roll is impregnated with 100% beeswax and powdered medicinal herms including Sage, St John Wort and Chamomile The linen, beeswax and herbs are tested as free from all environmental toxins. |
 |
What happens during treatment?
The treatment is very gentle and relaxing it takes approximately 60 minutes depending on the condition patient being treated.
The candles are placed over the ear orifice and ignited, it is only allowed to burn approximately 4” from the end of the candle. As it burned it produces a gentle local heat. The warm air combined with the oil and herbs soften the wax and draws it into the base of the candle, the candle is then removed, the ear and surrounding area is then massaged, the treatment is repeated on the other ear.
The therapy is both safe and relaxing in which both ears are treated individually. There is then a gentle massage around the sinus area of the face to complement the treatment. |

REFLEXOLOGY therapy fees link
The origins of reflexology date back several thousand years and it is known that the Ancient Egyptians and Chinese practiced a similar method to promote good health and balance energy throughout the body.
Reflexology is a form of “complimentary” medicine which activates the healing powers of the body. This involves using massage to the reflex areas found in the feet or hands. Most commonly the feet are used as the areas treated. In the feet there are reflex areas corresponding to all parts of the body, with the right foot corresponding to the left side of the body. Imbalances in the body will be mirrored in the feet or hands.
By having the whole body represented in the feet, the method offers a means of treating the whole body and on treating the body as a whole. This latter point is an important factor of a natural therapy and allows not only the symptoms to be treated but also the cause of the symptoms.
The art, and practice of working the reflexes in the hand or feet
The treatment links into your natural energy system and helps to eliminate toxins and impurities whilst improving circulation and so induce relaxation by balancing the whole body, by helping us to RELAX and deal with stress better, reflexology assists in the living of a happy, health and peaceful life.
Reflexology is a very well established and respected therapy, not only by private clients, but is also widely accepted by the medical profession. |
 |
What happens during treatment?
When you first visit a Reflexology practitioner you will be asked about your medical history. You will then be asked to remove your shoes and socks and sit in a reclining chair.
The treatment involves the practitioner using thumb and finger pressure to the reflex points on the foot. Some points may be tender and this indicates to the practitioner in which area of the body there are imbalances.
A minimum of three treatments are recommended. however this is generally advisable to have a course of approximately six treatments to obtain optimum results. However this depends on the individual’s present condition and how they respond to treatment.
A treatment session usually lasts between 50 -60 minutes. |

REIKI HEALING therapy fees link
Reiki is not a religion or faith healing. It is a perfectly Natural complementary healing therapy, which can be used alongside conventional medicine to assist SPEEDY recovery. The treatment can be used for both young, old and pregnant women. It can be used following an operation or on those who may have painful or sensitive symptoms.
Reiki (RAY KEY) is a Japanese form of spiritual healing which can ease stress, clear the mind and restore clarity, relieve physical ailments and provide comfort and peace in times of trouble. It is incredibly versatile as healing energy can be transferred through the hands and applied to heal yourself as well as others and even your pets and plants!
The term comes from the words rei, meaning universal and ki, the Japanese for qi, the life force that is inherent in everything. When this life force is flowing freely, we are healthy and happy, when it is low we are far more susceptible to both physical illness and emotional stress. In Reiki Therapy, this universal energy is activated by the practitioner and passed on to the recipient where it both replenishes areas that have been depleted of energy and stimulates the body's own natural ability to heal itself.
During a session, the energy enters through the head of the practitioner and flows out through the hands into the client to heal and balance spirit, mind and body.
The Reiki principles are:
Just for today do not anger
Just for today do not worry
Honour your parents Teachers and Elders
Earn your living honestly
Show gratitude to every living thing
Dr. Mikao Usui, or Usui Sensei as he is called by his students in Japan, is the founder of the Usui System of Reiki. He was born August 15, 1865 in the village of Yago in the Yamagata district of Gifu prefecture, Japan. It is thought that he entered a Tendai Buddhist school on or near Mt. Kurama ("horse saddle mountain") at age four. He also studied kiko, the Japanese version of qigong, which is a health and healing discipline based on the development and use of life energy. The young Usui found that these healing methods required the practitioner to build up and then deplete his own life energy when giving treatments. He wondered if it were possible to do healing work without depleting one’s own energy. He went on to study in Japan, China and Europe and ended up spontaneously receiving Reiki during a meditation practice on Mt. Kurama. |
