About the Teachers
SHELAGH PICTON
Owner of Sheber Holistic Therapies
Shelagh is a qualified Holistic Therapist and has been practising for more than 20 years and is a member of the St. Helens Chamber of Commerce.
After training as an Aromatherapist at the Shirley Price School of Aromatherapy and then the with the Sandra Day School of Therapies.
Shelagh went on to train in various other therapies, Reflexology, Hopi Ear Candling, The Bowen Technique, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, Hypnotherapy and Crystal Therapy.
Shelagh was one of the first Aromatherapist in the Merseyside area. As a Usui Reiki Master Teacher she has been teaching Reiki for the past 6 years as well as Hopi Ear Candling and Indian head Massage, Shelagh is a qualified Karuna Master Teacher.
MARIE FAGAN
Marie Fagan is a college lecturer specializing in Holistic Therapies
Marie has been a therapist for over 17 years. She has extensive knowledge on all the therapies she teaches as well as doing reading with Angel, Zen, Goddess and Taro Cards.
Marie teaches the following at Sheber: Angel Therapy, Crystal Therapy, Mediation, How to develop your intuition and how to read Angel and goddess card.
As part of their dedication to a Reiki Master they offer on going support and advice to all students.

FIRST DEGREE REIKI
LEVEL 1 – 1 DAY COURSE
First degree is about self-healing and the students are able to treat family & friends.
On this workshop the students will receive Level 1 attunements & teachings.
Level 1 manual accompanies the course with a certificate on completion of case studies. This is done at the students own pace.
Following the Level 1 attunements students are required to self heal 28 days and a minimum of 3 months are passed before proceedings to level II
SECOND DEGREE REIKI
LEVEL 11 – 1 DAY COURSE
The second degree is a practitioner status and enables students to treat others.
- On this course the student will receive Level 11 attunements and teaching which includes:
- Distance / Absent Healing
- Sending healing to the past & future
- Healing the planet
- Guidelines for becoming a Practitioner
- Level 11 certificate on completion of case studies
Following the Level 11 attunements students are required to self heal for 28 days and a minimum of 6 months are to pass before proceeding to level 111 Master.
LEVEL 111 – Third degree Reiki and also Karuna Reiki

HOPI EAR CANDLING
1 DAY COURSE
Hopi Ear Candles are named after the Hopi Native American Tribe who first introduced this gentle therapy to the west.
The Hopi nation are renowned for their extensive knowledge of healing and their spiritual lifestyle, in fact translated Hopi means “peaceful ones”
Ear Candles are used widely throughout North America, Asia and although the current treatment has come to us from the Hopi tribe the use of ear candles to treat ear problems has been known for centuries, being user by the Egyptians, Romans and Greeks.
What is Hopi Ear Candle?
Hopi Ear Candles are an ancient, mild and natural therapy.
The Hopi Candle is not a candle as such but a hollow tube made of cotton flax.
The flax is stiffened by impregnating it with extract of honey, beeswax, herbs and oils whose healing properties have been known to the Hopi Tribe for hundreds of years.

Introducing the Crystal Medicine Wheel with Ray Berry and Judy Hall
A Medicine Wheel is an ancient embodiment of healing and soul retrieval which shaman Ray Berry has expanded with journeying crystals. In this introductory workshop Ray will explain the meaning of the cardinal directions on the wheel and drum to help us to connect to the power animals and associations. Ray Berry comes from South West Scotland and has been working with earth energy all his adult life. He taught extensively with Leo Rutherford. Ray works with crystals in a traditional Mayan medicine wheel. Judy Hall has been working with crystals for over thirty-five years and is the author of the Crystal Bible and many other books..
